Rachel Ramsey's Salon opened its door May 1, 2011 and it was a dream come true for me to be a third generation owner and stylist. As a stylist since 1988, I was employed by Boyd’s Hairdressers for seventeen years and felt it was time to venture out on my own. I was lucky enough to have four fellow co-workers follow me and together we offer over eighty years of expertise.
My experienced team consists of myself, Rachel Ramsey; owner, and stylists: Megan Hevener, Rhonda Zimmerman, Jessica Brown, and Jackie Stickley, as well as an apprentice: Charity Beverly.

Graduated from Ralphs Cosmetology of Schooling in Lynchburg, Virginia.
She has a total of 23 years experience.
She keeps up with the latest trends at hair shows.
She specializes in "total make-overs", colors, foils, precision/razor cuts, perms, and waxing.

Graduated from Staunton School of Cosmetology, Staunton, Virginia.
She has a total of 11 years experience.
She has attended hair conventions in Las Vegas and Charlotte, S.C. and also has an instructor's license.
She specializes in updos, foils, colors, cuts, and perms.

Graduated from Staunton School of Cosmetology, Staunton, Virginia.
She has a total of 42 years experience.

She specialized in roller sets, cuts, coloring, foils, and perms.

Graduated from Valley Vocational Technical Center, Fishersville, Virginia.
She has a total of 9 years experience and specializes in military cuts, updos, coloring, cuts, foiling, and waxing.

|  Jackie Stickley - Stylist
Graduated from Staunton School of Cosmetology, Staunton, Virginia.
She is the newest member to our team and specializes in edgy cuts/rockstar hair, coloring, foils, perms, Avant garde styles, and updos.

|  Charity Beverly - Apprentice
A senior at Rockbridge High School is presently doing an apprenticeship here under Megan Hevener.
Plans to graduate from high school early and pursue a career in cosmetology.
She is Rachel Ramsey's daughter.

Graduated from Staunton School of Cosmetology, Staunton, Virginia.
She has a total of 7 years of experience and specializes in perms, colors, haircuts, shampoo and sets, and waxing.

She has a total of 42 years of experience and specializes in perms, colors, shampoo and sets, and haircuts.

We take pride in providing our customers with the latest and most fashionable hair styles. We use only high quality hair renewing products such as: Redken, Scruples, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, Bedhead, and Biolage. With over eighty years combined experience, our professional stylists will readily meet your needs as well as keep you current with the most updated styles. We continue to stay up to date of the newest trends by attending conferences and conventions. We offer a pleasant atmosphere, complete with a childrens' area, coffee bar, television, and we will accommodate you and your family during your visit.
Rachel Ramsey's salon also supports foundations that are dear to our hearts. We donate one dollar of each service to St. Jude's Childrens' Hopsital. We also take pride in our military by offering ten dollar hair cuts to our servicemen and women. We also accept hair donations for Locks of Love and Pantene.
